As Chief Executive Officer, Chris oversees BRCC’s day-to-day operations, as well as our brand marketing strategy to drive business growth and market share across all our channels.
Upon joining BRCC in May 2023 as Chief Marketing Officer, Chris quickly made a positive impact on the company and was elevated to President, in addition to his CMO duties. Chris’ expanded scope was recognition that his deep business and strategic expertise extends well beyond marketing to include business development and operational capabilities.
Chris has 28+ years of consumer marketing, business and leadership experience. Prior to Black Rifle, he spent nearly 12 years at Mars in multiple leadership positions including Chief Growth Officer, Senior VP North America Customer Development, and VP of Marketing. In these roles he consistently grew his responsibilities and led transformative growth and operational improvement across numerous brands.
Before that, Chris spent 12 years at Kraft Foods leading businesses in North America and China, including launching the most successful campaign in recent Kraft Cheese history.
Before his business career, Chris was a Marine for five years, deploying in support of Operation Desert Freedom. Chris has a strong personal connection to the military and first-responder community.
Chris has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in economics and marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
