Steve has deep familiarity with our operations and financial profile. He is a long-time supporter and big fan of Black Rifle Coffee and played a key role in our transition to a publicly traded company in 2022.

Steve brings more than 30 years of experience to Black Rifle and will drive our efforts to further build on our strong brand momentum and drive profitable, sustainable growth and investor returns.

He is a seasoned financial professional and former Fortune 200 operating executive with expertise in managing, building and growing global public organizations. Most recently, Steve serves as Co-Managing Member of SilverBox Capital, an investment firm he co-founded in 2017. He was also the CEO of Boxwood Merger Corp. until its merger with Atlas Technical Consulting. Previously, Stephen held leadership roles at AECOM, a global engineering and technical services company, including serving as President, COO and CFO. He also led AECOM’s capital raising and investor relations activities, developing a close relationship with investors, analysts and investment banks. Steve was also formerly on the board of directors of ABM Industries, a provider of facility management services, YMCA of Greater Los Angeles, and the Board of Trustees for the UCLA Anderson School of Business.

Steve has a bachelor’s degree in economics from UCLA and an MBA from USC. He is happily married to Heather and together they have two children, Matthew (16) and Annabel (14). Steve enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and wake surfing.
