Manuel Pineiro
SVP Supply Chain Operations

Manny adds to our veteran ranks, having served four years in the U.S. Air Force as an Avionics Maintenance Sergeant working on C-130, C-141 and C-5 airframes. Serving during Operation Urgent Fury, his aircraft hangar saw a 99.9% sortie reliability at Pope Air Force base.
Manny earned both his BS and MBA while serving in the U.S. Air Force, attending classes evenings and every weekend for 4 consecutive years. As a lifelong learner, Manny earned an xMBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute having the honor of connecting with Jack himself.
Upon leaving the U.S. Air Force, Manny started his business career 35 years ago at Procter & Gamble, serving in roles across all areas of the supply chain which included manufacturing, logistics, planning, commercialization, engineering, and IT. He later joined PepsiCo, holding key leadership positions with increasing responsibilities in manufacturing, IT and supply chain.
For the past three years, Manny has been the Latin American Supply Chain Vice President for a $7.9B foods business, supporting brands like Lays, Doritos, Quaker, Gamesa, and STAX, to name a few. He has solid experience inspiring collaborative multi-disciplined/functional teams to perform while transforming the organization across many facets of the business. Manny has a strong belief that strategy can only be as great as the ability to land it where the work is accomplished. He is fascinated with different cultures and has worked in 26 countries. Manny attributes much of this professional and personal growth to these experiences which require a unique ability to bring diverse people together in the transformational process. He considers that this is the way to navigate a world environment he calls, “VUCA” (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous).
