Utah Gets Its 3rd BRCC Outpost
Over the weekend, Black Rifle Coffee Company fans in Utah celebrated the grand opening of the newest BRCC outpost location in Spanish Fork. This celebration is a pause from BRCC’s Texas expansion and a moment to focus on BRCC’s other home state. The store’s soft opening was actually on Memorial Day and offered tribute to the military community in its own way ahead of the full-blown grand opening. Owners Neal and Casey Currey were joined by Tactisquatch, Evan Hafer, Mat Best, Heavy D (of the “Diesel Brothers”), and the BRCC events team.
“We had a great opening on Memorial Day, a tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and have welcomed in the community to kick-start the morning or for a pick-me-up in the afternoon daily,” said Brandy Carlson, BRCC director of retail marketing.
“Never forgetting where the company started, Black Rifle Coffee Company makes it a point to stay engaged with the communities that help establish the basic principles that we operate on every day,” Carlson said. “People are making choices every day — whether it’s a coffee shop, a place to meet, or somewhere to stop for a treat — based on where their values are reflected.”
For the grand opening, the community gathered for an event complete with coffee samples, raffle prizes, the BRCC Bronco, and an inflatable obstacle course. Ready Gunner (founded by Neal Currey) and Rockwell Live Unrivaled also set up in the parking lot. In fact, one of the raffle prizes during the event was an $800 gift card to Ready Gunner.

In keeping with the trend of corporate and BRCC Fund check presentations at every opening, BRCC corporate donated $5,000 to Nielsen Traning & Consulting, a firearms consulting and tactical-training firm that offers a variety of classes and courses to the general public as well as specialized training for military and law enforement personnel. The BRCC Fund made a $4,000 donation as well, its going to Project Overwatch, whose goal is to energize support for law enforcement through the military community.

This third Utah outpost boasts a full coffee and espresso bar; a grab-and-go menu for breakfast, lunch, and sweets; and merchandise, similarly to the other brick-and-mortar stores. The store also opened up fully staffed, with roughly 40 employees, which is also similar to the other locations. This store opening marks the 19th BRCC outpost open at this time. There’s an additional tie to the military with this outpost, thanks to store owner Neal Currey. Currey served with the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, with two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan before moving into the private sector and eventually opening Ready Gunner, where BRCC coffee is sold, before stepping into running a BRCC outpost.
