Houston Store’s Grand Opening Draws Tactical Taz, Veteran With a Sign, and ErmaRose Winery

A grand opening over the weekend celebrated the newest Black Rifle Coffee Company Outpost in Houston, Texas. This outpost is the company’s ninth store in Texas and offers a full espresso bar, more than 15 different blends of coffee, a drive-thru, BRCC merchandise, and a grab-and-go menu for breakfast, lunch, and sweets.

The grand opening kicked off with a ribbon-cutting at 5 a.m. and a flag-raising ceremony at 10 a.m. with the routinely scheduled tumbler giveaway when the doors opened, then raffle prizes and trivia in between.

The new outpost was visited by Tactical Taz, Veteran With a Sign, and a team of US Marine Corps recruiters and their Poolees. The USMC crew not only handled crowd control for the event but also brought along a pullup bar for anyone needing to burn off some of the copious caffeine, handed out swag, and raised the flag.

A BRCC Fund donation went to Grace After Fire, a veteran-run nonprofit that works to empower the woman-veteran community through support groups, financial basic-needs assistance, retreats, and community resource-navigation services.

Among the other companies showcased during the event were ErmaRose Winery, a local woman-veteran-owned winery; Epic Axe Houston, a mobile axe-throwing company; CAP4Pets, a local nonprofit that rescues, shelters, and places homeless animals for adoption; and Patriot Paintless Dent Removal, a veteran-owned auto shop specializing in paintless dent repair.

"As we continue to expand, we are doubling down on the culture and values that are central to Black Rifle Coffee," Evan Hafer, CEO of Black Rifle Coffee Company, said. "We will be serving premium coffee to people who love America at our Houston location, with a passion and ever-increasing commitment to our servicemen and women. This new store is a symbol of a commitment that will only continue to grow from here."
